STUDENTS from St Helena School in Colchester arrived at their biggest, glitziest night of the year, suited and booted to celebrate the end of secondary school.
More than 100 students dressed to the nines to enjoy the prom which marked the end of their days at the school.
The St Helena prom was staged at Wivenhoe House Hotel in the grounds of the University of Essex.
At 7pm, students began arriving to the luxurious hotel in fleets of sports cars many can only dream of.
Students stepped out in glamorous, flowing dresses and sharp suits to celebrate their prom in style as proud parents and teachers watched on.
Many of the students arrived in a variety of different vehicles which included a Bentley, a Ferrari, a Harley Davidson chopper and an Aston Martin.
Fiona Pierson, headteacher at St Helena School, said: “We were thrilled to have the Year 11 prom returning to St Helena School.
“It was a wonderful occasion and a great chance for students to celebrate all their hard work at the school.
"We wish them all the very best in their future endeavours.”
