A COLCHESTER sixth form student will be competing for glory to become Miss England.
Casey Alias, 22, spends her weekdays at Colchester Sixth Form College, studying Psychology, Chemistry and Sociology.
But come the weekend, she walks down catwalks and spends her time modelling.
She won her first beauty pageant aged 13.
Casey entered the Miss London competition being selected alongside 12 other girls after completing a first round photoshoot.
After completing a series of catwalks, Casey and two other girls had the opportunity to enter Miss England, which will take place on August 22.
On the evening, Casey will compete in a talent show as well as a catwalk.
The winner of Miss England will then go on to represent England in the Miss World Contest, of which the winner will be awarded £100,000.
Casey said: "I’m extremely grateful to have made it to miss England.
"Modelling isn’t a passion of mine, it’s something I adore, it’s something I want to make a career out of."
