A MAN has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Colchester.
Police are investigating an incident which unfolded at a block of flats in Granary Court, the Hythe, Colchester, on Monday evening.
Police arrived shortly after 10pm to find a man had suffered a stab wound to his torso.
A spokesman said: "Thankfully his injuries are neither life-threatening, nor life-changing."
Leon Sobers, 44, of Haven Road, Colchester, was arrested following the incident.
He has been charged with grevious bodily harm with intent, racially or religiously aggravated fear or provocation of violence, possession of a knife in a public place, and criminal damage.
He is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court today.
