A WOMAN who injured a pedestrian during a car collision while not having a driving licence has been spared prison.
Tina McCree failed to look properly when driving a Peugeot Partner van in St Johns Green, Colchester, on September 28 of last year, Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard.
The 41-year-old also did not have the relevant insurance and didn’t have a driving licence at the time of the offence.
Single charges of driving without due care, insurance and a driving licence were proven in McCree’s absence at court.
McCree, of St Johns Green, Colchester, was ordered to pay £204 in a fine, surcharge and costs and was handed six points on her licence.
