'Good news!' - Missing 91-year-old man found following police search (Image: Essex Police)
AN elderly man who disappeared from his home has been found following an extensive police search.
Robert Knight, 91, from Colchester, went missing at about 10am on August 3.
The National Police Air Service, the force’s dog unit and search and rescue volunteers were drafted in with the hope of locating him.
Thankfully, Essex Police have now confirmed Mr Knight has been found.
A spokesman for the force said: "Good news! We're no longer looking Robert Knight.
"Thank you to the public who called us and everyone who shared our appeal."
