A LEARNER driver who got behind the wheel without supervision has been handed eight points on his licence.
Bryce Thornhill was also uninsured when caught driving a Suzuki S-Cross in Magdalen Street, Colchester, at 3.20am on January 12.
He admitted driving without the relevant licence and without insurance when he appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court and was ordered to pay £269 in a fine, surcharge and costs.
Thornhill, 18, of Thornwood, Colchester, was also handed eight points on his driving licence.
