Officers attended a fire in Stanway with crews after a blaze in the bushes outside a restaurant was spotted.
Police were on scene with colleagues from Essex Fire and Rescue service outside the Harvester in Stanway.

This is after a fire was sighted in the bushes outside by roads policing officers who were passing by.
As a precaution the Harvester and Sainsbury's behind were evacuated.
The fire has now been extinguished.
An Essex Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "Three of our appliances attended a fire at the side of the road just off the A12 at Stanway at 2.48pm.
"It's been extinguished.
"The nearby pub and supermarket were evacuated by police as a precaution."
An Essex Roads Policing unit spokesman added: "Working alongside ECFRS who have done an amazing job of putting out bushfires in London Road, Stanway.
"As we assisted in evacuating premises and closed roads. Roads are now open and business open as usual."
