A TEENAGER motorist has been hit with a fine and licence points after being caught driving without a valid licence and insurance.
Bryce Thornhill, of Thornwood, Colchester, was caught driving in Magdalen Street without a valid licence in January. He was also not insured on the vehicle at the time.
EXPLAINED - What we can and can't report from court
Colchester Magistrates' Court heard that he drove a car without displaying "L" plates to the front and rear or supervised by a qualified driver.
The 18-year-old admitted the charge, and was fined £120 and given eight licence points.
