COLCHESTER FRINGE Festival will return with the second instalment of its annual event.
The city is set to be flooded with diverse, high-quality performers, who will fill the pubs, shops, streets, cafes and theatres.
Visitors will be privy to a wide range of world class fringe acts, who will fill shop windows with captivating performances ranging from burlesque, to magic, theatre, comedy, dance and poetry.
Fringe Theatre is a concept where acts are performed outside of the main theatres in small scale often depicting non traditional subject matter.
The aim of the event is to support work from emerging artists whilst attracting performance groups to the town from both the UK and overseas.
The event also hopes to attract people from outside of the city, drawing in footfall for the shops and restaurants.
The festival is non-for-prfofit and any profit made will be used to support artists and develop future Fringe Festivals.
The event will take place from October 20 to 23, filling the streets with free theatrical performances for a long weekend that celebrates independent theatre.
