A WOMAN has been ordered to pay more than £160 after she admitted using threatening and abusive words to distress a member of the public.
Abigail Riggs, 18, appeared in Colchester Magistrates Court where she admitted to the offence, which took place earlier this month.
Riggs, of Cross Cut Court, Colchester, was fined £40, required to pay £16 to fund victim services, and pay £105 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The overall costs came to £161.
