Thief with 'numerous' convictions jailed for stealing bike worth £2,000
A MAN with a long record of theft was jailed for stealing a bike worth more than £2,000.
Philip Spicer, 51, appeared at Colchester Magistrates' Court on August 17 charged with theft.
The court heard he stole a bike valued at £2,030 in Colchester on July 30.
He committed the offence while on licence for a previous theft offence.
Spicer, of Haven Road, Colchester, admitted the charge and was jailed for 12 weeks.
