A CHARITY dedicated to helping residents living with dementia while supporting their loved ones will host a night of jazz music and mingling next month.
Age Well East, which is based in Colchester, will host a special community event at The Veranda, in North Hill, on September 22.
During the evening, starting at 6.30pm, representatives from the organisation will promote the work they do to help those within the area.
Families and residents who have used the services on offer will share their experiences and there will also be a show from saxophonist Michael Aremu.
A spokesman for Age Well East said: “The purpose of the evening is to showcase our work.
“We will have some of our incredible volunteers and those benefiting from our services in attendance, so they can talk first-hand about how Age Well East is making a difference to them.
“This will also be an opportunity to meet our team who are always happy to discuss involvement with our projects and events should this be something you would like to consider.”
Guest who would like to attend the evening are encouraged to RSVP by sending an email to fundraisingevents@agewelleast.org.uk as soon as possible.
