A FAMOUS comedian frequently seen on our television screens is set to bring her side-splitting show to Colchester this autumn.
Kiri Pritchard-McLean will perform her Home Truths stand-up routine at Colchester Arts Centre on October 7 at part of her UK tour.
Kiri has previously appeared on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Would I Lie to You and also hosts her own show BBC Radio Wales.
During the city centre event, guests can expect to chuckle at anecdotes about Kiri’s decision to move back home, her rescue chickens and struggle with lockdown.
Throughout the pandemic, for example, Kiri was the landlady of virtual pub The Covid Arms, hosting a hugely successful weekly comedy night in aid of charity and venues.
It has since become a monthly event and has so far raised over £150,000 for The Trussell Trust, a charity which provides emergency food to those in need.
Her Colchester gig, running from 8pm, will also boast hilarious jokes about everything from skinny jeans and learning Welsh to white supremacy.
Tickets cost £15 or £13 for concessions and can be purchased by visiting colchesterartscentre.com or calling the box office on 01206 500900.
