FAMILIES will be able to enjoy a popular event when it returns to a railway station for the bank holiday weekend.
Thomas the Tank Engine is coming to town for a limited time and fans can hop on board at the East Anglian Railway Museum’s Day Out With Thomas event.
A spokesman said: “Day Out with Thomas is a fun-filled event for families and friends hosted by one of the biggest friends of all, Thomas the Tank Engine.
“Every ticket includes a train ride with a life-sized Thomas the Tank Engine, a real steam engine, as well as access to lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
“At Day Out With Thomas we encourage families to ride, play and stay all day, so we are bringing plenty to do.
“Each ticket includes unlimited train ride pulled by Thomas, a chance to say hello to Sir Topham Hatt, live entertainment throughout the day including sing-a-longs with Sodor station sweepers, Rusty & Dusty, arts and crafts for the kids and much more.”
The event is back on Saturday August 27, Sunday August 28 and Monday August 29, at the East Anglian Railway Museum in Wakes Colne.
Tickets are available at earm.co.uk.
