THOMAS Lord Audley School leaders said they were elated to report some outstanding GCSE results, including a student who achieved the highest grades in the school’s history.
Susanna Jonas achieved nine grade 9s, including English Language, English Literature, Maths and Science. This was the best individual result in the school’s history, since it was formed in 1958.
Other notable achievements include Emily Stanton and Keisha Byrne, who both achieved, on average, two grades higher in all subjects than expected.
Simon Essex, the school’s head teacher, said: “I am incredibly proud of all the hard work and achievements of our students.
“Our teachers have again worked tirelessly to ensure students are all able to progress onto further education and study. We look forward to seeing what they will achieve in the future.
“I would like to thank my staff, the students and their families for all that they have done to achieve these outcomes.”
