A COLCHESTER takeaway has recently been handed a four out of five-star, food hygiene rating.

Grand Feast Takeaway, which specializes in Indian cuisine, has been handed the rating following an assessment on July 22, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

This now means that of Colchester’s 115 takeaways with ratings,  92 – 80 per cent - have ratings of five, with none having ratings of zero.

The takeaway, which is located at 20 Osborne Street, specialises in a wide range of Indian cuisine, offering a wealth of vegetarian dishes, as well as fusion dishes, such as Indian inspired pies and wraps.
