Lubala came through the academy at Birmingham City before making his Championship debut as a second half sub in April 2018.
He left Birmingham to sign for Crawley Town in the summer of 2019, scoring 13 times before the Covid-19 pandemic cut short the season.

Lubala had done enough with his performances to prompt Blackpool to pay an undisclosed fee to take the attacker to Bloomfield Road, in the summer of 2020.
He signed a three-year deal at Blackpool and spent the second half of last season on loan at Northampton Town.

Lubala,Β who was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and raised in Leicester, made 14 league appearances for the Cobblers, helping them reach the League Two play-offs.
He appeared in Blackpoolβs Carabao Cup tie against Barrow earlier this month but will now spend the rest of the season on loan at Colchester.
Colchester will be looking to Lubala to boost their firepower, having struggled in front of goal of late.
