POLICE are looking for information following the assault of a man outside a fast-food restaurant.
A CCTV appeal has been released by Essex Police, who are wanting to speak to the man pictured.
A man was assaulted outside McDonald’s in the High Street, Colchester between 10.30pm and 11pm on Tuesday, August 23.
The man in his 20s was reportedly stood outside when a man approached him, said something to him and then assaulted him.
A spokesperson for Essex Police said: “Do you know this man?
“We want to speak to him in connection with an incident where a man was assaulted in Colchester on Tuesday 23 August.
“It was reported the man in 20s was standing outside McDonald’s restaurant in the High Street between 10.30pm and 11pm when the incident happened.
“He says a man approached him, said something and then assaulted him.
“Anyone with information about the incident, or who has footage of it which has not yet been passed to us, is asked to contact us as soon as possible.
