Youngsters went quackers at a duck race to raise cash for an expedition to build a children's playground in Malaysia.
Rangers and Guides, in duck-themed fancy dress, descended upon Dedham Mill to race the plastic birds yesterday.
Crowds lined the banks of the Stour to cheer on their contenders in the blazing sunshine.
Money raised at the event, organised by girl guide leader Julie Cann, will go towards funding four girls and three leaders from Dedham Girl Guides to take part in voluntary work in Malaysia and Borneo.
The group has been selected to take part in the expedition to build a children's playground in the Cameron Highlands as well as taking part in work with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in Borneo.
