Two walking bus schemes at a school have become so successful that a third could soon be launched.
Youngsters at Old Heath Community Primary School, in Old Heath Road, Colchester, arrive for school bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as a result of their morning exercise.
The announcement was made as Essex County Council revealed it has set up its 100th scheme.
Headteacher Jeremy Hallum said a new walking bus could be set up in September, because parents and children supported it.
