An Army shop is closing after more than half a century of trading.
Lomax Thrift Shop at Colchester Garrison will close on July 10.
The Menin Road shop, which sells second-hand clothes, shoes, toys and bric-a-brac, has seen profits fall.
It is also in line for demolition under Garrison redevelopment plans.
The shop was set up in 1952 by officers' wives who ran it from an Army hut before it moved to Cavalry Barracks in the 1970s.
