A GALLERY has moved to make its award-winning exhibitions more accessible under new plans.
Colchester’s Firstsite has applied to build a new access ramp to its terrace at the site in Lewis Gardens.
If approved, new external lighting will be installed as part of the application.
The gallery, which was announced as Art Fund Museum of the Year 2021, offers a unique blend of visual art, exhibitions, films, events, food and drink.
Colchester Council has the final say on the plans.
