AN all inclusive event is coming to Colchester to get parents and children moving while having fun.
Following a successful launch in Old Heath back in August, Colchester ParkPlay is now being staged in Greenstead.
The event will provide active and inclusive games for all ages, enabling all generations to play together. The event will provide residents with two hours of play for free.
Residents attending the Greenstead ParkPlay launch will be able to find out about the new Essex Pedal Power scheme.
The community based cycling project will enable residents over the age of 16 to loan a new bike, free of charge, for an initial period of six months.
Chloe and Francesca Townsend, also known as the Townsend Twins, launched the Old Heath ParkPlay andt hey will also be supporting Greenstead ParkPlay.
Chloe and Francesca said: “We are really excited to host the second ParkPlay in Colchester and are looking forward to the community joining in with some fun games that are suitable for everyone.”
The free family event will return on Saturday, October 1, from noon till 2pm at the Hickory Avenue playground.
