A MAN suffered burns to his forehead and neck when a fire broke out in his shed.
Ambulance and fire crews were called to the property in Larksfield Cresent, Dovercourt.
Two fire crews from Manningtree and one from Dovercourt attended the shed fire, along with an ambulance and a response car, at about noon yesterday.
The 65-year-old was taken to Colchester General Hospital where his condition was not thought to be serious.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service, said: "We were called to the fire at 11.54am.
"A 65-year-old man was taken to Colchester hospital with burns to his forehead and neck."
