Thousands of people took advantage of the sunshine and enjoyed a day out at the Essex Young Farmers' Country Show.
The annual event had found a new home - at Boyton Hall, Roxwell, Chelmsford - and the crowds turned out to enjoy a whole host of activities and entertainment yesterday.
The Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team (The White Helmets) were just one of a number of highlights as the busy show rings, stalls, exhibitions and tents were never empty.
A police dog team, the pony club's mounted games, horse displays and competitions and the livestock meant it was a big day for animals as well.
The show was organised by a dedicated team of volunteers made up of members from each of the ten groups - for people aged 16 to 26 - from across the county.
Show chairman Adam Marriage said: "It has gone very well and I am very pleased with it all.
"We have been planning since this time last year, and seeing everyone coming together after all this time and effort is miraculous."
