A SCHOOL where half the youngsters have fathers serving in Afghanistan has sent 150 boxes of treats for Fathers' Day.
Parents, pupils and staff at Montgomery Infant School and Nursery, in Baronswood Way, Colchester, collected enough items in a week to pack a box for each of their dads.
Reception class teacher Sue Bridgeman said: "When the children were told that all the parcels were packed and ready to go they sent out a loud cheer."
