A COLCHESTER shop will supply special school ties after parents' concerens.
Mums and dads whose children go to Sir Charles Lucas school feared their children could be punished for wearing the wrong clothes.
Sir Charles Lucas uniform previously came from National School Wear in High Street, Colchester, which closed last month.
Recently, the Gazette reported on Hazel Calver, who was concerned after her son Jordan had his tie stolen. She was backed by parent-of-two Jenny Hart.
Headteacher Jude Hanner said an agreement had been made with Ernest Newson, also based in the High Street, to supply the ties in a month's time.
She said: "In the meantime, any students who does not have a tie for a genuine reason will not receive a punishment."
