A STAGE performer is in with a chance of being named Miss East Anglia 2008.
Joanna Peagram, 21, is one of ten finalists in the pageant.
If successful, she will go on to represent the region in this year's Miss England contest.
Miss Peagram said: "I'm so pleased just to get this far.".
Miss Peagram started dancing with the Jacqueline Annis School of Dancing in Clacton when she was three.
Her love of performing arts continued at Tendring Technology College.
She then got a triple distinction in a performing arts diploma at Colchester Institute.
Miss Peagram, of Stallards Crescent, Frinton, works as a beautician for Chanel in Debenhams, Colchester.
