A MAN has been charged with burglary in connection with a break-in where alcohol was stolen.
An address in Maidenburgh Street was broken into between 12.30am and 9am on Wednesday in Colchester.
Alcohol was stolen during the incident which took place in the city’s Dutch Quarter.
Philip Spicer, of Haven Road, Colchester, was arrested yesterday and has now been charged with burglary.
The 52-year-old is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court today where he will enter a plea to the charge.
