Cherry Ann Lewin
Passed away peacefully at Silversprings Care Home aged 82. She leaves behind Daughter Lynne, Son-in-Law Martin and Brother John. Cherry and her family wish to say thank you for their care and attention to Colchester General Hospital, St Helena's Hospice, Oncology Unit, Urology Department and Silversprings Care Home. Passed away peacefully after a long illness at Foxburrow Grange, Colchester, aged 76 years. Fondly remembered for her long service as a teacher and governor at Thomas Lord Audley School in Colchester. A much-loved friend who will be greatly missed. A dearly loved Father, Brother, Grandad, and Great Grandad, John passed away peacefully aged 92 at Great Horkelsey Manor surrounded by those who loved and cared for him. Funeral will be held at Colchester Crematorium on 10th of October 2022 at 11:45am. The family have asked if family only flowers are to be donated. Passed away suddenly but peacefully on 13th September in The Westerley Care Home, aged 87 years. Dearly loved Father of Alison, Father-in-Law of Mark. Grandad to Joshua, Isabella and Ellis, their partners Amrita, Dean and Sharlie, Great Grandad to Lucas, Aurabella and Arlo. Missed so much by us all. Malcolm Sidney Goldsmith
It is with great sadness that Malcolm's family announces his passing on Sunday 28th August at the age of 79. He passed away peacefully at St Helena Hospice surrounded by family and will be lovingly remembered by his Brother Charlie, Sister Sandra and his many Nieces and Nephews. Malcolm put his love of engineering and fixing problems to good use during a long career as a plumber and would go to extraordinary lengths to help a friend in need. He was a much loved member of his local community and enjoyed playing for his local Football and Quoits teams. Malcolm is regularly described as one in a million and will be sorely missed. The funeral service will be held at Colchester Cemetery and Crematorium, Mersea Road on Thursday 13th October at 10:15am followed by a gathering of friends and family at Stanway Rovers Football Club at 12 noon to celebrate his life. All are welcome to attend. Flowers to be delivered to Wimpole Road Co-op Funeral Home by 9am. All donations will be made to St Helena Hospice.
