A trio of dedicated fundraisers have collectively clocked up more than 100 years of service for an organisation which has made a huge contribution to health care in Harwich and Dovercourt.
Three members of The Fellowship for the Sick, a long-running charity, which raised money for the old Harwich Hospital and its patients, have been honoured in a special presentation to mark their retirement from the organisation.
Ervin Richmond, Dee Cooper and Marie Read are all in their 80s and 90s and have worked tirelessly for the charity, which has run for more than half a century.
During the fellowship's annual meeting last week, the retiring members were presented with cards and presents by the fellowship, and were praised for their hard work and loyalty.
