TWO trains are set to be out of service after they were sprayed with graffiti.

The National Express East Anglia (NEEA) trains each had one carriage defaced by vandals when they were stationed at the Clacton rail depot in Skelmersdale Road.

British Transport Police are investigating after the damage was discovered in the early hours.

A spokesman said: "There were two large tags on each of the trains, which were not readable. Both were very large areas of graffiti.

"Scenes of crime officers are due to attend the depot and take pictures."

PC Darren Jenkins said: "Our intelligence bureau has a lot of these pictures, and they can possibly marry them up to a suspect."
