MEN dared to bare on a golf course in the name of a good cause - to raise awareness of male cancers.
Members of the Braintree Rivers Rotary Club posed with their golf clubs and balls for calendar girl-type shots at the Colne Valley Golf Club, in Station Road, Earls Colne, to drum up support for a golf day in aid of The Institute of Cancer Research's Everyman campaign.
The rotary club raises money for charity and its first ever golf day next month will support research into testicular and prostate cancer.
The charity golf day will take place at the Colne Valley Golf Club on June 25.
Teams of two cost £95, including a presentation dinner, and to just attend the dinner it costs £20 each.
For more information or entry forms go to www.brr.org.uk, call Mr or Mrs Rowe on 01376 339333 or e-mail mechelrowe@btinter net.com.
The closing date for entries is June 9.
