THREE sisters are appealing for funds to rescue stray dogs they found in Greece and add to their collection of adopted pets.
Elizabeth Walker, 29, of Halstead, Victoria Avery, 30, of Sudbury, and Louise Walker, 26, of Earls Colne, want to raise £4500 to save three abandoned dogs they discovered on holiday.
The animal-mad trio have already rescued eight horses, ten dogs and 30 cats between them.
They began their latest crusade after they spotted a spaniel dalmation cross wandering the streets in Crete, malnourished and badly bitten.
They need to raise £1,500 per dog for microchipping, rabies immunisation and quarantine.
The shows are set to take place at the Coumbine Centre, in Walton, on July 19 and August 22 and 23 and at the Empire Theatre, in Halstead, on September 20.
