PARKING chaos in a seaside town will get worse if a new hotel and flats are built, it is claimed.
Residents have serious concerns that no car spaces have been planned for the proposed 57-bedroom Travelodge in Clacton.
The hotel would replace the former Woolwich call centre in Jackson Road.
The development also includes 32 private houses.
All the site's 29 parking spaces would be reserved for new residents, while hotel guests would be asked to use the NCP car park across the road.
People living in Ellis Road, behind the six-storey call centre, fear guests would park in busy roads near the hotel, clogging them up further.
