A SPECIAL event designed for the military community is set to hit Colchester for the first time.
The eighth Armed Forces and Veterans Resettlement Expo is free to attend and aims to cater to serving personnel, veterans, partners and spouses of those linked with the armed forces.
The event will feature an array of exhibitors, who will present recruitment opportunities, professional training courses, forces pension advice and plenty more.
The convention is hosted by Pathfinder International, a magazine which covers military resettlement.
It is distributed via the Ministry of Defence to the 19,000 personnel who leave the force each year.
Pathfinder editor and RAF veteran, Mal Robinson, said: “We are all really looking forward to the expo in Colchester.
“Having held two other events at other ‘super bases’ in RAF Brize Norton and Catterick, it made sense to come to Colchester and visit the southeast for the first time.
“Everyone from the forces community is welcome to attend not just those looking to leave and we welcome veterans and spouses to come and enjoy the morning and network with like minded people.”
