FIREFIGHTERS had to gain entry to an antiques shop after concerns were raised about a resident’s health.
However, when the crew attended the scene in Market Hill, Coggeshall, they found the occupant was nowhere to be seen on Friday evening.
A fire spokesman said the crew was called to the scene by the ambulance service to help gain entry.
But it transpired the person had already taken themselves to hospital after an reports of a wait for an ambulance.
“A crew from Coggeshall attended and gained entry. However, no one was in the property and it was confirmed the occupant was already in hospital,” added the spokesman.
