AN award-winning property firm honoured its best-performing employees after finally hosting an annual summer party previously postponed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Beresfords, which has estate agents in Colchester and Witham, invited more than 190 of its workers to a circus-themed bash in celebration of their achievements.
Now in its seventh year, the awards evening is designed to highlight employees who have shown an unrivalled dedication to their work and the company.
During this year’s ceremony, a total of 24 coveted awards were presented, including Best Customer Service, High Flyer and Employee of the Year.
The latter was won by group resources assistant Chloe Free who was thrilled to take home one of the top prizes.
She said: “I’m so proud of my achievements over the past year and delighted to accept this prestigious award.
“Lots of people have contributed to helping me reaching this goal and I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years.”
Paul Beresford, chief executive officer at the company, was thrilled to be able to finally thank his staff members following the coronavirus crisis.
He added: “It was a fantastic night that meant a lot, not only for the award winners but the staff as a whole.
“It’s an opportunity for us to come together annually and applaud the hard work and commitment that we see from our teams.”
