THE future of a residential care home is set to be decided after lengthy negotiations.
An application for the former motel at Silverwoods in Thorrington was approved by Tendring's development control committee last August, but will go before members again on Tuesday.
They need to make a second decision after it was found that Southend-based applicants Nelson Housing owned less land at the site than previously thought.
A condition of the earlier application to create a public footpath has also not been carried out.
Officers have recommended refusal of the new application as a result of policies introduced as a part of the Tendring District Local Plan last year.
