POLICE have released an appeal for witnesses after a bus driver caused a cyclist to swerve and crash into metal railings in London Road.
The collision, which took place on Wednesday, October 5, saw the cyclist sustain injuries to his arms and legs, before the double-decker bus carried on driving towards Lexden Road, Colchester.
The police are now appealing to anyone else who have witnessed anything, with the collision taking place at 11:10am.
Anybody with CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident is being asked to come forward.
