A THUG who assaulted two people at Colchester North Railway Station was found with drugs on the same day.

Ashley Patrickson, 42, had a quantity of cocaine and cannabis on his possession at the site in North Station Road on February 2.

Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard he also assaulted a man and a woman.

Patrickson, of Siddons Road, Stevenage, admitted the four offences.

He was ordered to undertake 60 hours of unpaid work and attend 20 days of a rehabilitation activity.

Patrickson must also pay £240 in a fine and surcharge.
