AN empty warehouse could be transformed into an axe and knife throwing venue if plans are approved.

Applicant Dean Waterman is seeking to open a new site in Moorside Business Centre, Colchester.

Plans reveal throwing lanes will be installed in the unoccupied warehouse and trained marshalls will be present when throwing is taking place.

A statement reads: “The general manager is a world championship recognised competitor and medal winner”.

There are up to seven parking spaces available and no alcohol will be permitted on site.

Colchester Council has the final say.
