A BUSINESS has been fined more than £1,000 for failing to give information about the driver of a vehicle involved in an incident – despite being ordered to do so by the Metropolitan Police.
Greenisgreen, a waste management service headed in McCluskey’s Street, Colchester, was ordered to pay a fine of £1,210 at Bromley Magistrates Court.
It follows an offence where the business's administrators failed to hand over information to the Met about the driver of a Renault van when the driver was alleged to be guilty of an offence in May.
The case was proved in the defendant’s absence.
