TWO people climbed on top of a hotel roof before emergency services swarmed the complex after concerns were raised for their safety.
Police and firefighters were called to the Holiday Inn Express, in Birchwood Road, Langham, at about 2.30pm yesterday.
Upon arrival, officers found at least two people had made their way on to the roof of the hospitality venue.
After working to defuse the situation, the force managed to convince the pair to return to a place of safety.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Officers were called to the Holiday Inn Express in Birchwood Road, yesterday afternoon to reports of concern for safety.
“We attended the scene and the situation was resolved quickly with the people on the roof coming down.”
Jessica Emma, from Colchester, noticed the incident unfolding while driving to fill her car up at a nearby petrol station.
She said: “There were numerous police vehicles and armed police at the Holliday Inn and there was about 20 people outside in groups.
“Then armed police and a van turned up.”
