PLANS are under way for Essex Air Ambulance's annual Motorcycle Run.
The record-breaking event last year involved 4,500 bikers, and made more than £33,000 to help keep the lifesaving helicopter flying high over the county.
Organisers of the major event hope this year's, due to take place on September 7, will be even bigger and better.
They have just announced that Cannon Motorcycles, of Braintree, has donated a BMW motorcycle, while Austrian Motorcycle Holidays is providing a ten-day holiday in the Austrian Alps, to form a single prize for one lucky participant in this year's run.
Anyone who pre-registers for the 2008 run by going to EssexAirAm bulance.uk.com will have their details automatically entered into the prize draw, which will be drawn on September 8 on Essex FM.
