A LONG-running and widely acclaimed choir in Clacton is looking for a new musical director.
The Clacton Choral Society, which performs major classical orchestral and choral works, is set to lose its MD, Peter Kenvyn Jones.
The Clacton-based professional musician has led the choir for the last five years and will be leaving in the autumn after their Mendelssohn concert.
Under his direction, the choir has continued to develop its 100-year tradition of singing top-quality classical music.
Anyone wishing to apply for the vacancy in the autumn is asked to call the secretary on 01255 425976.
