A COUNTRY park in Clacton will not be taken over by a council, despite repeated attacks by vandals.
Pierre Oxley, Tendring Council's portfolio holder for leisure services, said the council does not have an obligation to take over the London Road site, which is due to open in January.
Jeff Cripps (Lib Dem, St John's) asked Mr Oxley whether he thought the council should take over the running of the country park due to the amount of vandalism that has taken place since the contractor planted trees and bushes.
