AN annual clothes swap designed to reduce the number of items of clothes going to landfill is set to return.
The Colchester Frock Swap, organised by Stanway councillor Lesley Scott-Boutell, aims to cut down on wasted clothing.
Mrs Scott-Boutell, who started the event in the mid-2000s, has announced it will return on November 26.
It will run from 9.30am to 12pm at Colchester Arts Centre, in Church Street, Colchester.
The organiser said: “Everyone is guilty of having unused clothes at the back of their wardrobe, and this the event is the perfect way to make sure good clothes don’t go to waste.”
