A man from Basildon has died after a crash on a major Essex road, police have confirmed.
The 31-year-old man from Basildon died at the scene on Sunday morning (November 20) following the A12 northbound incident in Chelmsford at 9.15am where a grey Ford Fiesta left the road.
Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, which happened between junction 18 at Sandon and junction 19 at Boreham.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We need anyone who saw anything or has any dash cam footage to contact us.
"If you have any information, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
"You can let us know by submitting a report on our website or by using our online Live Chat service available Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 10am-9pm."
