A CONVENIENCE store has closed its doors as part of a temporary refurbishment.
The McColl’s branch in Mersea Road, closed on Wednesday, but it is expected to reopen on Friday, December 2.
The post office, which is part of the store, will also be closed during this time.
David Harris, Labour councillor for Berechurch ward, said: “I believe from speaking to people the upgrade and modernisation of the store with new shelving and fridges will be a refreshed asset in my estate.”
